Deceived by Labels
Last Words of Good: It's ok, I'm not mad at you.
There was once two people in a quiet little community in the middle of New York City.
One was a homeless beggar, and the other was a respected preacher in the church.
Everyone called the homeless beggar a crackhead and viewed him as such.
You see, in their eyes, all homeless people were on drugs and were crackheads.
Everyone called the preacher a good man, because he was a preacher and for no other reason.
After all, they reasoned, aren't all preachers men of God and as such, Good Men?
There are a few things the people of the community didn't know though.
The preacher, the one they labeled a Good man, he molested his little brother when they were children.
When he grew up and moved out on his own, he didn't stop.
He found other little boys and girls to molest at local playgrounds and camp sites.
He went to collage and became a preacher, and upon graduation found a job as a preacher - at their church.
He has been molesting their children for the past 25 years.

The homeless beggar, the one they labeled a crack head.
He grew up poor.
He never had much, including friends.
When he and his family were in need, no one came to their aid.
As a matter of fact, as a little boy, he was one of the preachers victims when he turned to the preacher seeking help for himself and his family.
The homeless man became homeless when both his parents died in a crash.
He didn't let his situation beat him or defeat him though.
He stayed away from drugs, booze, and crime.
He used his own experiences and what little he had day to day to help other homeless people and to teach them to escape drugs, booze, and crime like him.
He found an old bible in the church garbage when he left after being molested by the preacher.
He read that Bible, cover to cover, many times.
He kept that bible when he became homeless.
He became saved because of reading that bible.
He used what he learned from that Bible and made use of his own homelessness to defend, assist, teach, and save other homeless people leading many to Christ, including the actual crackheads - who were usually pretty decent folks themselves who didn't really want to be crackheads.

Don't judge people by their labels.
Labels have been known to be wrong and can be downright deceptive.
I once opened a gallon of milk that had a sell by date 3 weeks away.
When I poured it into my glass, it was like pouring cottage cheese.
Things aren't always what they seem.
Neither are people.
